Recycled Back to school crafts: How to make a "Pencil" Penci

MATERIALS:
  • 1 empty can of potato chips
  • A black Marker
  • 3 pieces of cardboard (pink, dark and light yellow)
  • 1 piece of gold or silver lace (you can use aluminum foil as replacement)
  • Scissors
  • Glue

STEPS(S):
  • Cut a 11x2" strip of pink cardboard.
  • Cut a 11x10" piece of dark yellow cardboard.
  • Glue the yellow cardboard to the can and form the pencil’s body. (Do this starting from the top and leaving little bit of room to put the cap back in)
  • Glue the pink cardboard to the bottom portion of the can.
  • Glue the silver lace in between the yellow and red paper to form the pencil band.
  • Take a piece of light yellow cardboard and cut , glue and form a cone from it.
  • Pour glue on the outside rim of the potato chip cap and attach it to the inside of the cone
  • Using a marker draw the tip of the pencil
