How to make replacement necklaces for your dolls - Easy Doll Crafts

STEPS(S):
  • To make the choker
  • Start by cutting a piece of foam of about 2 inches by 1 inch
  • Fold around the neck of the doll to measure and cut excess material if any
  • Then apply glue to the middle and fold
  • Before the glue sets hold in place on your doll’s neck
  • After the glue is set and harden remove the necklace
  • Cut in half to thin the necklace out
  • And apply small nail art gem stones using clear glue or nail polish
  • You can also use gold nail polish as a replacement
  • To make the gold necklace
  • Apply glue forming a necklace shape unto a mirror or a piece of glass
  • Just before the glue hardens completely use an exacto knife to make indentations for beads
  • Then carve the necklace out of the glue
  • Remove the necklace
  • And plaint using nail polish
  • I will be using a gold nail polish because I would like my necklace to have a more realistic gold tone than the original, use purple polish to make a gem
