  • This craft is super easy but you will need adult’s help to make it
  • For this craft I will be using two containers to make two shopping carts
  • One will be a butter container for my 12 inch dolls and an ice-cream container for my 18 inch doll
  • Start by placing masking tape or making 1cm marks on the side of the container
  • Cut leaving and empty space in between markings
  • Use your doll as a guide to find out where the main frame and handle for the cart should be placed
  • Mark the skewer stick or Popsicle sticks at the desired height
  • Then glue on each side
  • Cut a small piece of stick for the middle
  • Attach it to the main frame
  • Then cut a second one for the bottom
  • Attach a stick to one side
  • Then the other side
  • Cut the lid to form the bottom of the cart
  • Glue in place
  • Cut the excess
  • Then cut and glue another stick to the front
  • Cut large straws to make the axel for the wheels
  • And glue them to the front and back of the bottom portion of the cart
  • Cut another piece of straw to make the handle
  • And glue in place
  • Paint using acrylic paint or spray paint
  • Let the cart dry
  • Make the wheels by using a thin skewer stick or a thin straw
  • And use foam beads or buttons
  • Pass the stick through the straw
  • Then attach the bead
  • Cut any excess
  • Attach the other bead
  • Cut any excess
  • And repeat for the other wheel
  • Paint the wheels using nail polish or acrylic paint
  • Paint the handle
  • And that’s it
  • Your doll is now ready to go shopping!
